TWO FRIENDS.
ONE PASSION.
We're Scott and Adam — two buddies from Appleton, Wisconsin who would rather be on the water than anywhere else. What started as weekend kayak trips turned into a full-blown fishing show.
We film everything ourselves, rig our own gear, and keep it real. No sponsors telling us what to say — just honest takes on the fish, the gear, and the Wisconsin outdoors.
Scott runs a NuCanoe Unlimited. Adam runs a Bonafide SS127. We both watch the water through a Garmin Striker 4, and neither of us can leave the dock without a YakAttack BlackPak full of tackle we're probably going to reorganize at the landing.
You'll find us chasing walleye, perch, and smallmouth across the Fox River and Lake Winnebago system, drilling holes all winter, and trying — usually failing — to keep our transducer arms from freezing.
Two friends chasing more fish and a healthier planet. That's the whole mission.
BUILT, NOT BOUGHT
Every episode gets cut, voiced, and polished in this room. It started as an empty space in November — a few weekends of paint, a Bait & Tackle sign, and a wall of lures later, it’s the Two Friends Fishing studio. Here’s the build, start to finish.
What’s on the walls and the desk, for the curious:
- Bait & Tackle sign — the centerpiece
- Hanging lures and framed fish prints
- Lake map and a Wisconsin license plate
- Desk with fish-print tablecloth — the editing station
- Camera on tripod, ceiling LED light bars
- Tackle box on the cabinet — within arm’s reach, always
MEET SCOTT & ADAM
SCOTT
I’m Scott. I run the NuCanoe Unlimited, cut the episodes, and generate most of our “we should film this” ideas. I’ve fished Wisconsin my whole life — walleye first, everything else second — and the transducer arm is my ongoing engineering project. Draft bio — I’ll keep rewriting this until it sounds like me.
ADAM
I’m Adam. I run the Bonafide SS127, and if you scrolled the studio slideshow, most of that paint is mine. I’m the calmer half of the boat — usually. Draft bio — Adam’s writing his own.
TWO FRIENDS
Two friends from Appleton who would rather be on the water than anywhere else. What started as weekend kayak trips turned into a camera, then a channel, then a studio with a Bait & Tackle sign on the wall.
The full origin story goes here — how we met, the first trip, why “Two Friends Fishing.” Draft in progress.
